Heat Transfer
About This Course
This course covers the fundamentals of Heat transfer through conduction, convection, and radiation. It explores steady and transient conduction, including fins, variable conductivity, and thermal resistance networks. Convection is analyzed using dimensional analysis and flow analogies, focusing on forced/free convection over various geometries. Radiation heat transfer includes blackbody concepts, laws of radiation, and radiation exchange between surfaces. The final unit addresses heat exchangers, boiling, and condensation, emphasizing practical design and analysis methods like LMTD and NTU.
